Sunny Side Down

“In no certain terms can we determine what is good unless we have a firm understanding of the essence of evil.”

                                      – Me

I love seeing the greatness in the world, and I’m sure you all do to. Being able to understand what is incredible about every individual is an astounding accomplishment. The way we view our world is the way our world is.

If we perceive the man who dropped of the mail as late and obnoxious, then he is late and obnoxious. This is the way of the world, and nothing can change it… well, besides you.

Since you can imagine positivity, you can change the world world just by your attitude towards something. We have much more power then we believe in our minds and in our hearts. The awesome power of creation lies within us, and the only way to harness it is to believe.

I know it sounds cheesy but just knowing you possess this conceptual power can remove almost any mental blocks or past traumas that have kept you down since you can last remember.

Be the change! Not just the change, but he the exaple in which we all will follow!

Accomplishment Applied To Our Future

Sunday Sustainability

One lesson which I acquired today was, with work comes fruitfulness. No matter what situation you are in, the amount of satisfaction we get from something depends heavily on the amount of work which is put into it.

I was fortunate enough to be able to go on another hike today pretty close to Jerusalem. On this hike there was a plan to stop off by a place in which we can swim. Problem was that no one thought of making sure it was reliable information, so we ended up just going to an empty pit which had a little water on the surface. Of course I didn’t really mind i just loved the hike back and the staircase down later…

Every time I go on one of these adventures, there is a certain natural spring in my step, and a joy throughout my thoughts. The number one trick for me to stay in a positive mindset throughout the day is, without a doubt, healthy physical action. This can range from working out, running, and any sport you choose. Being accomplished physically, surprisingly increases your will to accomplish mentally and will help you appreciate the things that go on all around us.

What? When? Who?

Taking these lessons and knowing them is great, but what is the ultimate outcome if we don’t apply them to our everyday life. The point of a good joke is to laugh, and the purpose of a positive point is to use it in a positive way. Bring your lessons with you to your actions, instead of picking them up afterwards.

My Adventure Today In the Mountains

Thorough Thursday

We climbed through a hiking trail on the mountain known as Nachal Elal. I have been on a good amount of hikes since coming to Israel, but this one was especially gorgeous. The way the valley snaked out in front of me for miles was a bit overwhelming, but awe inspiring all at the same time. As you see by the pictures I was there with my class which brought a certain friendliness to the mountainside. I always feel like I get more out of an experience when I’m with people I would like to reminisce with, about this trip in the future. This concept brought the whole trip up to a level which I can safely say was satisfying.

The night before, was one of the most uplifting of my life, singing and playing guitar by the beach with everybody. Just a cloud of positive pursuing voices, reaching heights of motivation only a few get to experience throughout life. Something I can take away from that is, which all of us know is within us already, a wanting for love, and that wanting can heal you in so many ways.

Sorry for the shorter post today but feeling very tired, hope you enjoy, and have an incredibly satisfying weekend…

Unplanned Days, Unplanned Successes

Wild Wednesday
Today does not feel like a wednesday. From Rafting to hiking and even a little singing on the beach, there was nothing about this day that reminded me that it was a random day of the week. I was in this weekend mode during the whole day, I almost forgot to post today because of those mental auto-activities.

So, what happens when there is a gap in our schedule which could be beneficial for us to be doing, but all the same, makes it harder to accomplish what we do on a daily basis?

To help understand this we must look upon Zig Ziglar and his array of motivational quotes, but this one I particular,

Isn’t it amazing how much stuff we get done the day before vacation?

Zig Ziglar

Looking for an excuse can be part of the challenge which hits us hardest on vacation days. To realize that vacation is used to recharge for more accomplishments, is the key to never letting a lazy day keep you down for more than a day, like it’s supposed to.
There are things we need rest from, and there are things we need more of, even if we feel like it was enough. Look deeper inside of you to really believe your contentment is just that, and not your unproductive self trying to break free…

Being Worthy Shows What We Can Earn

Tuesday Trust

Money has been around for a while, like a really long time. Even before the creation of any kind of currency, the human race was using substitutes for money such as animals or varying services. This habit has shaped the concept of ‘earning’ throughout our history.
Brought out of context, the subject of this article can look like a way to earn money, but I am just going to focus on the concept of earning in a mental sense alone. (Maybe by using these tools we can earn more in our lifetime)
 Earning Our Lives
Every time we accomplish something no matter how big or small, there is always a thought of how much work we put into it, in the past. Because of this constant process to live up to our own work, and loving the rewards more for it, we always try to make things harder for ourselves to feel like we deserve everything that comes from the action.
This is evident in all things such as simple tasks which we think through a little too much sometimes, or the harder challenges in life in which adversity creates a particular pride in our work. These two ends of the same spectrum, let us go to each extreme and learn from the experience. We teach ourselves to either be haughty about our accomplishments or to not let the feeling that we deserve the rewards take hold.

 Inner Balance
Keeping a level playing field within our minds can mean the difference between contentment and frustration. Just like all things, if done through moderation, emotions can be beneficial. Meaning that once we learn to tap into our opposing feelings, and we focus on our moods in different situations, there will be chances to feel the contentment of earning ones way into happiness.
Being a successful person only feels good if you fought to get to where you are.

Don’t lose the war thinking it was the battle.

Monsters are just Mirrors with the wrong reflections

Monday Malevolence
We react to words like demon, and monster like we would if they were right in front of us. In a conversation consisting of a subject described like this, there is a certain benevolent force which drives our words with a clarity of the endless battle of good and evil. It is like, in some ways we can somehow be the judgment of what is and what isn’t good.

There are many different manifestations of what we call positive and negative. Once we use these concepts to describe something, there are certainties with which we now associate with those subjects. Because the belief in those words come with feelings of extremism, caution is a priority that must be used while using the power of these two concepts.
So now that we understand the commitment those words create; there can be a deeper understanding into how we can become more positive while using these concepts to bring out the certainty in which we live.
Words create feelings and there is a power in being able to change the feeling of a situation from boring to engaging or upset to thoughtful. Helping a social circle stay positive is a great way to improve the quality of your conversations. Just by using the word positive to describe the situation around us creates better vibes in general.
If we are feeling negative towards something we must look in ourselves for the problem before searching elsewhere. Be positive and enjoy life, life will enjoy you too.

Sunday Spirit

Everyday experience has a purpose

Everybody has their own definitions of what the word ‘spirit’ means. Some say it is a supernatural force, while others believe in more psychological manifestations. What we will be focusing on today is simply the way to use this concept as a positive force in your very own lives.

I have spoken about this in earlier posts, and I will again; we all wake up with different feelings and perspectives of the world on different days. I think it’s obvious what we feel like on Monday (unless you’ve read my previous posts) and the amount we accomplish on the days we feel positive is significantly more.
When the sunlight pours into the room from the cracks in the shades each and every morning, our brains will receive alert type signals to get up to a bright new day. On the other side of the coin there are those times we oversleep or sleep-in. Personally when I wake up late I and have to start my schedule with the feeling of lost opportunity as the inspiration for the remaining few hours.

That is the reason for so many of those depressing days and unproductive hours. If we wake up with a negative attitude or an expectancy of laziness then there will never be a way out of the loop of unproductivity. There are times when it is very hard to accomplish but with the spirit of every other productive, loving day, you can’t lose the fight.

Thursday Thought

A Day of Unprecedented Finalization

Feels like this week went by pretty fast. I am a big fan of schedules, and get pretty down when I don’t keep mine to the extent i’d like to. Although when I do stick to it the feelings of accomplishment are unprecedented. The need for comfortability fuels this habit for good reason. When doing something more then once we get used to the way we go about the action and start to focus on doing it better to naturally become good at it the way only we know how.

This is the reason for how the management system is structured in businesses. Someone who does what he does well, and is able to handle other responsibilities as well, is a worthy choice to be hired/promoted. If you are on some sort of schedule then you know how it feels when we don’t wake up on time or miss the class or meeting of some sort. That emotion is triggered when we disappoint ourselves in the face of adversity. For all of the times blame has fallen on the innocent only to feed the less confident thoughts that casually occupy our minds.

Don’t let your own insecurities bring thoughts of negativity that will hold you in fear. It is weird and a little backwards but being confident in yourself is the best way to be confident in others. Some of these people will be the ones we hope succeed, and some we just hope won’t give up. Our minds will always project ourself onto everything we come in contact with. This is the reason that a positive outlook can change the way we interact with the rest of the world.

Reflect your positivity onto the earth…

Wednesday Wonderment

To be in awe is to respect

Our friends are the preferred conduit of new experiences in our lives. By expanding our social circles we as humans generate a bigger sphere of influence, thus our experiences also become plentiful.

Everyday day this week I focused on walking around and looking through an amazed eye glass. Basically, This means I took the positive to the max with amazement and awe instead of pure positivity. So although I am not using all of my positive energy to be this way I’m just amazed at certain actions or instances; where I am blow away by the guy who lets the older man in front him while they wait for the train, or the people who cook for the less fortunate.

The key to achieving this level of awe for your reality is to be thankful for the world you are in. There is a certain appreciation I apply to all of my surroundings and from within me as well. When I see that elderly man say thank you and passes through, I see an amazing happiness from seeing such kindness.

Be thankful to achieve happiness.
Enjoy the rest of the night and I hope our understanding will take us to new levels of peace.

Timely Tuesday

It’s about time to act!

Look around and what do you see?
A person not accomplishing his dreams but instead wasting his time with useless actions. Maybe another burger eaten and not a pound lost, or even the time by the water cooler, with people using it as a socially accepted platform for their lies and fears.
You see a parent helping their offspring, or a hard decision being made and a friend is lost. We all choose what to see around and within us. All of these situations can be looked at as metaphorical or physical. Are these feelings inside of us or actual instances we watch go on around us?

Do our feelings affect how we see the world?

The answer is maybe, yes, and no.

To answer the question there are first certain details that must be fixated upon. How do you feel about yourself? And how do you feel about people around you?
Once we answer these two questions there is clarity to see how we truly let our emotions affect our perception of reality. So take the time and feel for you and others, thethen take your own feelings into account when you look at another person. Take along hard look at a person in your minds eye and the. Then take yourself out of the picture. Pretend you don’t exist for minute to truly understand how you relate to that individual. To understand someone while you are not in their presence is to understand the part of them they won’t show you.
Enjoy your new understanding of your friends and family and use it the positive way you know how, enjoy.
